WHAT IS MY ALLOTTED ACCESS TIME TO THE SPACE?

We allow access to The Garden + Warehouse, at the following times:

Monday - Sunday:  8:00am to midnight

 

IS THE SPACE CLIMATE CONTROLLED?

YES! The warehouse offers central heat and air-conditioning.



WHAT IS YOUR CURRENT CLASS SCHEDULE?

Please see our Calendar of Events &/or Workshop Schedule for a list of all upcoming, public events, and workshops. Private events will not be listed on our calendar. Please contact us if you need information on a private class or workshop that you’ve booked, or been invited to.

If you would like to host a class, or have an idea for a class - please contact us to collaborate!

 

WILL SOMEONE FROM THE FACILITY BE AVAILABLE THE DAY OF MY EVENT?

Yes, someone from the facility will be present. In addition, we also have someone from JSO to provide police presence.

 

AM I REQUIRED TO HAVE A PLANNER &/OR COORDINATOR FOR PRIVATE EVENTS?

For private events, yes - and all planners / coordinators must be Florida licensed and insured. No exceptions. 

If you're planning a corporate event, staff members and coordinators may suffice; however, this will need to be approved/agreed to ahead of time.

 

IS THERE A COORDINATION SERVICE INCLUDED?

No, not at this time, however, we are happy to assist you in this process however we can.

IS REHEARSAL TIME INCLUDED WITH MY BOOKING?

Yes. All bookings, personal and commercial, will be granted access to the space, in the weeks prior, to coordinate their event. Because we host classes and other events, we ask that you respectfully schedule an appointment for all visits to the space. 

 

ARE PHOTO SESSIONS INCLUDED WITH MY BOOKING?

Yes. Whether you're hosting a wedding, a corporate event, or teaching a class, we allow you to use the space for one photo session with your photographer. Additionally, we also allow you to use the space on a yearly basis for anniversary photos, and eventually family sessions!

If you're booking a corporate event, we allow you to use the space for the same - perfect for team building!  

All parties will need permission to be on the premises, so please call ahead for scheduling and availability.  

 

ARE TABLES, CHAIRS, & LINENS, INCLUDED?

No. Every event is as unique as the person booking it. If you need a list of reputable rental companies, we will be more than happy to provide you with one. 

 

DO YOU OFFER WEDDING PACKAGES?

SOON! We're in the process of developing packages with local planners. Once we have more details, we will list those offerings on our website. Please join our mailing list, (below),  for all updates!

 

IS THERE PARKING AVAILABLE?

Yes. There is ample parking. We have several areas throughout our property for parking, for both guests and vendors.

 

ARE THERE MULTIPLE CEREMONY CITES? 

Yes. We have several oak trees on the property, as well as several paver spaces in the garden - not to mention the warehouse.

 

DO YOU HAVE BACKUP FACILITIES IN THE EVENT OF RAIN? 

Yes. In addition to the Warehouse, the Garden has a large size paver pad that is perfectly sized to accommodate a 25’ x 45’ tent, should you so choose. We also have several grassy areas to include other tents, should you wish.

CAN I USE MY OWN VENDORS?

Absolutely. The only requirement is that all vendors must be Florida licensed, and insured. No exceptions.

 

AM I RESTRICTED ON FOOD AND ALCOHOL? 

Although we allow  you to purchase your own beverage package, Ellie's Garden does maintain certain restrictions, without exceptions... All beverage/bartending services must be brokered through a Florida licensed, and insured business. No exceptions. Unlicensed vendors are not permitted on the property and are strictly prohibited.

If you choose to offer only beer and wine at your event - please speak with us about additional options.

 

DO YOU OFFER FOOD AND/OR BEVERAGE PACKAGES? 

At the moment, we do not offer all inclusive packages.

 

DO YOU HAVE A PREFERRED VENDOR LIST? 

At the moment, we’re compiling a list…

 

WHAT ARE YOUR RATES? 

We charge $3,200.00 (+ FL Sales Tax)  for use of the space, Monday - Sunday. The rental time is from 8am - midnight,  for a total of 16 hours... This includes both the garden and the warehouse, unless otherwise noted.

Other fees, (cleaning fee + damage deposit + security), are associated with the use of the space - please inquire at the time of showing for current pricing.

As the space grows and changes, please make note that rates are subject to change without notification. This may, {at times}, conflict with our website, so always contact us with any specific questions you may have. 

 

DO YOU ALLOW HALF DAY/HOURLY PRICING?

Yes, our hourly rate is $175.00 per hour. 

With the exception of weddings, our half day pricing is $2,200.00, for a total of eight hours - morning, or evening. 8am to 4pm, or 4pm to midnight.

Some restrictions may apply for hourly / half day pricing, so please contact us with any questions you may have. 

 

DO YOU OFFER ELOPEMENT PACKAGES?  

Please contact us with any specific questions you may have. 

 

DO YOU HAVE DIFFERENT RATES FOR DIFFERENT DAYS OF THE WEEK?

No, we do not.

 

DO YOU ALLOW PHOTOGRAPHERS TO USE THE SPACE?

We do. Please contact us for our current pricing. Florida license and insurance is required.

Because we respect our local photographers, their knowledge and craft, we will not allow unlicensed photographers to use our space. No exceptions.

The meeting space/bridal-room is not a photography studio, and is not permitted for use, unless otherwise noted in writing.

WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?

We accept all major credit cards, Square eGift cards, cash or checks.  

 

AM I REQUIRED TO CARRY INSURANCE?

Yes. All Lessees are required to carry, hold and maintain, liability insurance. We suggest checking out WedSure.com for all event coverage needs. All vendors must be licensed and insured, and all vendors must maintain the appropriate insurance for themselves, as well as their employees. No exceptions.

 

IS AMPLIFIED MUSIC PERMITTED?

Per the Jacksonville sound ordinance, amplified music is permitted until 10:00pm... All amplified noise must cease at 10:00pm, no exceptions.

 

DO YOU CHARGE PER GUEST? 

No. Our rental fee is based on use of the facility, and not on the number of guests. 

DO YOU CHARGE GRATUITY? 

No,  we do not impose a gratuity. Gratuity is left to your discretion.
